David Forlano’s Totem is a multimedia, dot painting in light based on Red, Yellow and Blue. The painting (42” x 17”) hangs on a wall at eye level and displays randomly shifting circles of light. My contribution consists of Java code, running in the Processing environment, that randomly generates the dots of color.
As of now, this script casts a wide net and finds/saves voice memos and GPS instructions as well as voicemails. But, it gets the job done if you want to dump your voicemails to a local archive.
Her is an ORM (Object Relational Mapper) that maps REST resources to Ruby objects. It is designed to build applications that are powered by a RESTful API instead of a database.
